Starlight, Star Bright…

Did you know that starlight is bright enough to see by? If you find yourself in a meadow on a very dark night with no moon, as I did, and you wait long enough, you will be able to see, just by the light of the stars above.

I was moved by the beauty that I could see so clearly, albeit dimly. The lavender and green tones were barely perceptible by the gentle starlight. I wanted to capture that, both in fact and feeling.

Seeing this, standing in a field, in the dark, in the quiet, is a moment you want to hold close to you and remember for a very long time.

That quiet beauty is both refreshing and healing. It is a thing of connection. It is hard to describe. So I share it here as an offering of my own experience. I hope it helps you feel some small part of what I feel.
